ELIXIR W2O is a system flushing fluid designed for conversion of systems operating on a water based medium to water insoluble oil (particularly environmental oil) based fluids.

The basic flushing procedure consists of first draining down the relevant HPU / storage tanks and adding approximately 20 % of the total line volume of our flushing fluid to the water-based system, which is then flushed through immediately by 2 - 3 system volumes of the replacement fluid.

Flushing procedures are available from our technical team pending on the type of flushing application required.

ELIXIR W2O is widely compatible with both oil and water-based fluids although confirmation should always be obtained from our technical team prior to use to ensure maximum compatibility in service.

ELIXIR W2O offers outstanding environmental credentials with an OCNS Gold / OCNS E with no substitutable components for UK Discharge, Yellow in Norwegian waters, and is also approved for use in Denmark.

ELIXIR W2O is available in 25 and 200 litre drums and 1,000 litre IBC containers.

UK customers wishing to use ELIXIR W2O in their formulations are able to request a letter of access towards CEFAS for UK registration of end product/s.
